Binghamton, New York -- Oryx Insurance Brokerage Inc. of Binghamton, NY is pleased to announce that Joseph D. Enderle, CWCP, CRIS®, WCLS, CCLS, of the Oryx Syracuse claims office has earned the R.I.T OSHA Education Center's formal certification as a Construction Safety & Health Specialist. Completion of these courses is dependent on an individual’s knowledge and skill in understanding OSHA regulatory standards and in developing solutions to workplace safety challenges.

The R.I.T Construction Safety and Health Specialist Certification consisted of four required core courses including: OSHA Standards for Construction, Excavation, Trenching & Soil Mechanics, Fall Arrest Systems, and Electrical Standards.n addition to the aforementioned courses, Mr. Enderle also attended the following elective courses: OSHA Recordkeeping Rule Seminar, Introduction to Accident Investigation, and Introduction to Safety and Health Management.

Thomas A. Pasquale, Senior VP of Oryx Insurance stated, “We require that all of our claims adjusters have IRMI’s CRIS designations and are required to maintain a minimum of two professional designations. Joe took it upon himself to seek out these courses and work on his own time to complete the course work. Mr. Enderle is a New York State licensed professional claims adjuster with over 13 years of experience. He has worked with manufacturers, municipalities, health care, educational institutions, and the past 8 years his focus has been dedicated to the construction industry working with program Administrators and “A” rated insurance carriers.
